FAQs
-
Can I print out my custom-designed poster on my printer?
No, our in-house staff of professional graphic designers will create
your poster according to the specifications you chose while on our web
site. We will print your poster out on large 17" x 22" or 22" x 28.5"
poster paper and ship it unfolded and uncreased in a heavy-duty,
crush-resistant mailing tube.
-
Clement already has my company logo on file from other custom posters
I've created. How do I incorporate my logo into the poster I'm going to
design on your web site?
Design your poster the way you want it, making sure to leave sufficient
room for your logo. When you get to the page where you verify your shipping
address, put a note in the COMMENTS box letting us know that you want the
logo we have on file for your company added to the poster and where on the
poster you want the logo to appear.
-
After I've designed a custom sign, how do I print it onto the adhesive-backed
paper I received from Clement?
When you're satisfied with the way your sign looks on-screen, click the
PRINT SIGN button at the bottom of the page. This launches Adobe Reader
in a new window and displays your sign text without the header (ie, Danger,
Caution, Notice, Warning). Load the appropriate adhesive-backed sign paper into
your printer and click the "printer" icon at the top of the page.

When I choose a poster to customize, it loads on the next page, but the image
looks extremely fuzzy or completely blacked out. How can I fix this?
In Windows, click on START, choose SETTINGS, choose CONTROL PANEL, choose DISPLAY,
and in the "Display Properties" box that opens, choose the SETTINGS tab. Make sure
in the COLORS drop-down menu, you are at least using HIGH COLOR (16 BIT).

When I choose a poster to customize, the next page loads but doesn't display anything.

When uploading images to incorporate into my final poster design,
how can I ensure the best possible outcome?
Here are some image uploading tips to ensure the best final poster design:
- Supply digital photographs at "fine" setting: 1000 x 750
pixels min.; 72 DPI min.; with approximate size of 14" x
10.5".
- When submitting PowerPoint files, submit document size as
close to final size 17" x 22" as possible for best print
resolution.
- Images and logos are best submitted in Adobe Illustrator
EPS files.
- Images/graphics should be submitted in separate files from
text. In other words, do not send a JPEG embedded in a Word
document.
- Do not use images or logos downloaded from the
internet.
